The Irish Poker Festival, featuring the €700k guaranteed Party Poker MILLIONS main event is underway at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. The festival, which is now on its 3rd day began with a €400 Mystery Bounty tournament, won by Thomas Murphy. He defeated a field of 207 players to take down the €10,000 first prize and €12,500 in bounties, plucking the top two €4,000 prizes in the process.
The MILLIONS main event started yesterday, with 44 players starting and 15 making it through to day 2. Today is day 1b and there are a further 2 flights to come on Friday and Saturday. Today’s schedule also includes the €2,500 Irish Omaha Championship and the first flight of the €750 Dublin Cup.
I’ll be publishing 2-3 posts per day on the Party Poker Blog, with details of daily schedules, event winners and chip counts in the multi-day events.
There is a live tournament clock on the Irish Poker Festival website. It also has details of running cash games.
There will be a photo gallery on Flikr, which will have Irish Poker Festival Photos on it from tomorrow. It is the same gallery we used for the Party Poker MILLIONS Malta Festival. Photography is by Brian Ó hÉideáin. Pics are also being posted on the Irish Poker Festival Instagram account.
We are doing videography throughout the festival, which is being posted on the Irish Poker Festival X account (Twitter) and is being recorded and edited by Jerry Fitzgerald, fronted by Venice Nardone.
I am also compiling event data and results on a shared google drive document, which can be accessed here. The full results of the three events that have so far concluded can be found there, along with links to the thehendonmob profiles of the winners.
I will be sending a daily roundup, if you don’t want to receive these emails please reply and let me know and I’ll remove you from the distribution list for any further updates for this event.
