With the weekend upon us, participation in the Grand Prix stepped up a notch on Saturday, with days 1F and 1G of Grand Prix positing the highest starting day participation yet. With just 1 turbo starting day left to play, there have now been 1980 entries into the €1m guaranteed Party Poker event in total. The final flight is now in play and day 2 will resume at 7pm this evening.
Day 1F
Starting at noon, day 1f was almost 50% bigger than the early flight on Friday, with 308 players taking their seats. It was a long day but around 11 hours later the bubble burst and 46 players progressed to day 2, where they are automatically in the money. Just one player Poland’s Bartlomiej crossed the 1m barrier, ending on 1,117,000 chips. Here are the full chip counts from those still in contention.
